Heads or tails? It’s hard to pay attention to anything other than the horns of the Triceratops, but tails were vital to help dinosaurs move around. Even in the relatively short-tailed Triceratops, which had around 45 tail bones like the one pictured, a muscle within the tail would attach directly to the back legs to help power locomotion!
