Champsosaurus vertebrae (xs)

Fragment of fossilized Champsosaurus found in the Horseshoe Canyon formation of Drumheller. Champsosaurus is a crocodile like reptile, that existed during the Cretaceous period and after. They survived the mass extinction event that killed the non-avian dinosaurs. 

Each vertebrae is mainly centrum, the centre of the vertebrae, and may have cracks and minor restoration. Each piece will be unique in shape, size and colour, as is the nature of fossils! These vertebrae are approximately 1/4 an inch in size, other sizes available.
