Turtle shell fragment (medium)

Fragment of turtle shell found in the Horseshoe Canyon formation of Drumheller. Possibly from the terrestrial genus Basilemys (the King of Turtles)

All fragments will show the detail of the scutes, and will be approximately an inch and a half, with some wiggle room giving for oddly shaped fragments. Each piece will be unique in shape, size and colour, as is the nature of fossils!

Disposition number #000145. Copy of Certificate available upon request.
